Information we collect

When you request solar quotes, we collect your name, email address, property type, province, approximate monthly electricity-bill range, your consent choice, and the version of this notice you accepted. Our form service also records limited technical information such as your browser user-agent for security and troubleshooting. We do not use advertising cookies or behavioural analytics on this site.

How and why we use it

We use the information to receive your enquiry, identify suitable independent solar installers, pass the enquiry to those installers with your permission, let them contact you, show relevant request and quote information in the Solfuego dashboard, prevent abuse, and keep an operational record of the service.

Our legal bases are taking steps at your request before a possible installer contract, your consent to sharing the enquiry with suitable installers, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and compliance with legal obligations where applicable. You can withdraw consent for future sharing by emailing us.

Who receives it

We may share your enquiry with independent installers selected for your location and project. Those installers use the details to respond and are responsible for their own handling of your information. We also use infrastructure and content-delivery providers, including Supabase and Cloudflare, to operate the service. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights.

Retention and transfers

We keep enquiry information only for as long as needed to manage the request, handle follow-up or disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain necessary service records. We then delete or anonymise it. If a provider processes information outside the UK or European Economic Area, we require an appropriate legal transfer safeguard.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, object to certain use, or withdraw consent. Email us to exercise a right. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local data-protection authority, including Spain's AEPD.

Children

Solfuego is a homeowner service and is not intended for anyone under 18. Please do not submit a quote request if you are under 18.

Changes

We may update this notice when the service or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the version in force.
